1st You need a common cause to get them together, then some generalized theory which mostly fits in societies across eras and finally one or more ways to convince them that you and your people have been wronged and you got a brainwashed person.

Now comes the part where normal people might use their brain.

Naxals have killed so many innocents. but facts about exploitation by non tribals in tribal area must never be dismissed just because naxals have killed lacs of people.

Raipur is one of the warmest and most welcoming cities in central India imho. Naxalism is in certain pockets of Bastar and Dandevada and even they don't harm civilians. Maybe you should avoid going to these restricted areas, that's it.

Raipur is one of most thriving and vibrant cities among many tier 2 cities across India. It's very cosmopolitan and welcoming to all type of people. Naxal activities take place only in some pockets of Bastar like in district like Bijapur and Dantewada which are far very far from Raipur. Percentage wise only 5 % of Chhattisgarh is affected by Naxalism. You can visit some tourist places in Bastar, it's completely safe like chitrakoot waterfalls and tirathgarh falls.

iam a native chhattisgarhiya. i've been to out of state and when you tell them of your whereabouts, the first picture they draw after hearing the name 'chhattisgarh' is of naxalism. this is really unfortunate.

i guess somewhat we're at fault here too. our government hasn't done much to promote the natural beauty of chhattisgarh through tourism and other programs.  
  
naxalism is a very tiny part of chhattisgarh, the state is much more than that. hopefully we'll get rid of it in coming years.

only nexal activities are near the baster area,that too nexal people do not harm any citizen, they only fight against the govt. officials,

Bro it's not that dangerous, u can normally travel across CG no worries , and places where naxal activities happen , crpf soldiers are there , no big danger with them , it's a rumour now a days , in main cities like raipur bilaspur durg Bhilai nothing like that is their. It's not old CG , things have changed with time , CG is just a normal state , Bastar regions are very popular to visit as an traveller , on some parts of Bastar which is actually very very far from the actual place are not allowed to visit. You just have to give naxali people protection money and have to keep some weapons around just in case and yeah most of the houses in raipur are in deep forest areas so you should be aware of wild animals too and get a horse or something to go to college.

Bigger cities like Raipur, Bhilai/Durg and Bilaspur are completely safe. I live in Bhilai and never had any issues. They are not as active in the bigger cities as they used to in the early 2000s. Its basically nil.

Just google naxalite activity in CG and most of the links tell you which districts/areas to avoid.

I'm born and raised in Raipur, and trust I have never seen  a naxali or heard of any naxal activities in Raipur, and bear districts in my entire life. My family has been living there for 50 years and they have also not encountered such things. It is 200% safe from naxalites.

No one on the planet sympathizes with Naxals, except people who are directly related to them or benefit from them. My first job was at a reputable company in Salt Lake where the founder of the company, now a man in his late 60's acknowledged that he was a naxalite in his teen days. Later my grandfather who was in the police said he knew that guy very well and have helped him to avoid custody by hiding him on several police raids.

My mother's dadu was in police, he died before I was born but I have heard of his stories. He was an honest but feared officer, used to handling lots of Naxalites- I think it's implied he was pretty brutal. His son, my mother's mejo mama, was a Naxalite in his student days. My mother's dida knew and was always terrified he might be caught by his father or worse, his father might be targeted by his group (he was, several times). In the end, neither had killed the other and the son, the student Naxalite, later joined RPF. Actually that entire side of my family is in law enforcement.

one guy from a big family in our neighborhood was a pretty active naxalite. My grandfather used to tell us stories about police coming to their house for search/arrest on one specific occasion. My grandma (from mom's side) used to hide inside the house with my mom (when she was a baby) during the late 60s, early 70s and apparently you could hear the sounds of clashes on streets due to the widespread violence following the naxal movement. Once some guy got stabbed outside their house which was suspected to be done by a naxalite
